  • perform basic construction and drawing
  • explore and modify properties of mathematical objects
  • use geometric and algebra input to construct mathematical objects
  • design stand-alone web-based applets
  • embed applets to blogs and wikis
  • integrate GeoGebra in teaching mathematics

GeoGebra Seminars: Batch 1 done, batch 2 in August

We have just finished training 41 teachers from all over the Philippines on GeoGebra Basics.  The first group was composed of 21 teachers from  Luzon and Mindanao. The  seminar was titled Seminar-Workshop on Using GeoGebra in Teaching and Learning Mathematics. It held at UP NISMED, UP Diliman on May 5-6, 2011.

The second group was composed of 20 teachers from Bicol (mostly from Ligao National High School).  GeoGebra Basics was embedded in the 5-day seminar on Lesson Study which was titled Seminar-Workshop: Lesson Study on Teaching through Problem Solving with GeoGebra.  The seminar-workshop was held at UP NISMED, UP Diliman on May 9-13, 2011.  » Read more

GeoGebra Short-Term Course Concluded

Last Saturday, June 5, 2010, we have concluded our 3-Saturday seminar on Using GeoGebra in Teaching Mathematics. Below are some of the pictures  taken from the said short-term course.

That’s me on the first pic explaining the mathematics behind the “how-to” construction. If you’re wondering why our whiteboard is high, well, I am just short. I am 5’3” feet, or maybe shorter (chuckles).

As you can see, the participants are really serious. 🙂

So if you want to invite me* to conduct a lecture on GeoGebra in your school, I am just an email away.

*Philippines only (unless, of course, your school is willing to shoulder my expenses. Just kidding  🙂 ).
