SOF has a new URL; Math and Multimedia to a new server

To evaluate blogging outside WordPress.com, I have transferred School of Freebies to a new server and a new URL. I also plan to move Math and Multimedia to a new server by June or July this year.

After the transfer, email subscribers will still be receiving blog posts notifications. I will move your email myself to the new database. However, those who are subscribed to the original RSS feed and those who subscribed via their Wordpess.com blog or their Dashboard, you will no longer receive updates after the transfer. This is because the original RSS feed will automatically change once the blog has been transferred, and the new address will no longer be on Wordress.com.

So, if you are still using the old feed or subscribed via your blog, please update your feeds to http://feeds.feedburner.com/MathematicsAndMultimedia or subscribe by email (see right side bar) . This will ensure that you will still receive feeds and post notifications via email after the transfer.

I will be spending quite much for the guided transfer, so if this blog has helped you, and you want to donate, it will be very much appreciated.

What’s new and other updates

Here are some of the updates that I have made for the first quarter. I have found ways for you to follow the three blogs.

I. Mathematics and Multimedia

I have split the Post List tab into three; I have created two more tabs- the Mathematics tab with all the math posts and the Multimedia tab for all the multimedia posts.
The All for Free tab has been transferred here.
I will be hosting the 10th edition of the Mathematics and Multimedia Carnival. To submit your articles click here. I am looking for new hosts. Those who have hosted before are welcome to host again.

Hi everyone. Due to the growing number of articles in this blog, I am trying to “declutter” Mathematics and Multimedia. My apologies if in a few days you will be receiving post lists. If you have noticed, few changes were made:

If you look at the tabs, there are two more tabs – the Mathematics and the Multimedia tabs.
I have hidden the Best Posts and Future posts. I will create lists of top 10 posts (by number of hits) and top 10 posts (by rating) this early April.
The link of All for Free tab has been changed. Please update your bookmarks.

IMPORTANT: To all RSS Subscribers

I might transfer to WordPress.org soon. If I do this, the RSS feed may be changed. To avoid complications later, as early as now, kindly change your RSS feed to http://feeds.feedburner.com/MathematicsAndMultimedia.

This will also give me an idea of the number of RSS subscribers.
